Residential Technology Support Center

If you live in an on-campus residence hall, your first line of hardware and software support is Residential Technology Services. Contact Residential Technology Services by phone at (254) 292-4111, or visit them in the support center located in the lobby of Martin Hall. Residential Technology Services will assist you with just about any technical issue you encounter with your computer, in-room telephone, television, and much more. They can serve as your first line of support in diagnosing issues and recommending solutions for your personal computer, all at no additional charge.

Before contacting the Help Desk, please do the following:
- If you have access to the Baylor network, visit the Help Desk website and check the topics listed on the left to if any address your concern
- Restart your computer
- Check your power, network, and peripheral cable to see if they are loose or completely unplugged
- Write down the exact error message reported by your computer
- Check to see if anyone in your area is having the same problem
If your problem persists after completing the steps above, call or
email the Help Desk. Support Services Assistants are available to help you Monday through Friday from 8:00am until 5:00pm. If you call outside of these hours, you can leave a voice message and your call will be returned the next business day.

Our student or full-time staff will be able to either directly assist you with your issue or refer you to someone who can help.

If you need assistance with hardware/software issues, or need warranty work performed on many Dell computers, certain HP computers, and all Apple computers, please visit the Baylor Computer Repair Center. You will find the Computer Repair Center around the corner from the Baylor Bookstore, on the first floor of the Fifth Street Parking Garage, inside the elevator lobby.
