Student Technology Services (STS) updates and maintains operating systems and application sets on over 1200 computers campus-wide throughout more than 25 departments. Often, we receive requests from faculty or staff to install a certain application on the computers in a particular facility.
In an effort to handle these service requests more effectively, STS has the following procedure:
1. Installation requests should be submitted via online form at least 3 weeks in advance.
2. Departments should provide duplicates of the installation media, installation instructions and proof of adequate license to STS.
3. Someone from your department should be available to work with STS to test the application's functionality.
