Busy Fall for Distinguished Chair

Former Congressman and W. R. Poage Distinguished for Public Service Chet Edwards was on campus the weeks of Sept. 17 and Oct. 15. Chet met with Ben and Dean Orr, gave an interview on the topic of Global Education, spoke in several classes, addressed the Baylor Model United Nations representatives on the topic of nuclear proliferation and negotiation, had meetings with the Veterans on Campus and other campus groups and community leaders, attended Poage Library's Standing Committee Luncheon, and even had time to work in the archives, providing contextual narrative to videos and other media.
