W.R. Poage Library Presents Lincoln Exhibition

The W.R. Poage Legislative Library of Baylor University is proud to present With Malice Toward None: An Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Exhibition from February 12-August 28, 2009. The exhibition commemorates the 200-year anniversary of Lincoln's birth and will feature numerous items on loan from the private collection of Bob Willard.

Bob Willard has been studying and collecting material about Abraham Lincoln for 50 years. He was the strategic marketing officer for the U.S. Government Printing Office and the Executive Director of the National Commission on Libraries and Information Science. In addition, he is the past president and director of the Abraham Lincoln Institute and the current vice president of the Abraham Lincoln Association.

The opening reception for the exhibit will take place from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Feb. 12, 2009 at the W.R. Poage Legislative Library. There will also be a reception for Bob Willard from 3:00-4:15 p.m. on Feb. 19, 2009 at the Poage Library. Following the reception, Willard will give a lecture about Lincoln at 4:30 p.m. in the Meadows Recital Hall at the Glennis McCrary Music Building.
