The Baylor Libraries present the Kathleen Kenyon Lecture with author Dr. Miriam Davis on Wednesday, April 2 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Hankamer Treasure Room, Armstrong Browning Library. Dr. Davis will discuss her research on Kathleen Kenyon, one of the first female archeologists in the Middle East. Dr. Davis used primary materials she found in the Baylor Libraries to write her book, Dame Kathleen Kenyon: Digging Up the Holy Land.
A reception and book signing will follow in the library's Cox Reception Hall from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The free lecture is sponsored by the VPR Colloquium and is open to the public. All are welcome.
