Tickets for the Ferguson-Clark Author Lecture by British author Lynne Truss will be sold at the door on the night of the event, Thursday, Nov. 3. The annual library fundraiser will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Waco Hall on the Baylor University campus.

No tickets will be sold in the Library Advancement Office or online that day, but tickets will be available at the door, said Mary Goolsby, library advancement coordinator.

Tickets are $5 for students, $10 for Baylor faculty and staff, and $15 for general admission. Patron tickets priced at $50 will include admittance to the reception and book signing in Armstrong Browning Library after the lecture.

Truss is the author of the surprise international bestseller, Eats, Shoots & Leaves: The Zero Tolerance Approach to Punctuation a witty book, which rose to No. 1 on Britain's best-seller lists, then did the same in the United States.

Proceeds from the lecture will benefit the fine arts media center in the Crouch Fine Arts Library.
