A Cookies and Blossoms Party is planned for 1 p.m. Friday, April 1, in Milton T. Gregory Memorial Garden at Moody Memorial Library. All Baylor students, faculty and staff are invited to this event, hosted by the Baylor Facility Services.
'This is the second party sponsored by Facility Services, and more will be planned around campus,' said Lynn Woodward, customer service advocate for Facility Services. Homemade cookies and lemonade will be served to those who come to share the beauty of the garden.
Gregory Garden has been one of Woodard's pet projects for several years. She says that the flowers will be stunning for the get-together. The wisteria and cherry dianthus are already in bloom. The vermillion, amaryllis, lilies and columbines should bloom before April 1.
Gregory Garden is the sunken garden on the west side of the Moody Library. Access to the garden is by way of the stairs adjacent to the main entrance to Moody on the side of the library across from the Castellaw Communications Center.
