Updates to Alexander Street Press Performing Arts DatabasesDec. 15, 2008CLASSICAL SCORES LIBRARY 1,152 new scores from University Music Editions, including new scores by composers such as Buxtehude, Carissimi, Couperin, Gesualdo, Janequin, Loewe, Rameau, Schubert, Strauss, and others.
Over 500 new scores were added from the Renaissance period, 291 Baroque, 146 Classical, 181 Romantic, and 12 Twentieth Century scores. Total scores now number 9,258.
AMERICAN SONG 73 new albums (863 tracks) of rockabilly, early American pioneer music, and American folk from Stomper Time Records, Tompkins Square Records, Voyager Records and Yodel-ay-Hee labels.
CONTEMPORARY WORLD MUSIC 53 new albums (224 tracks) of electronica, norteņo, Latin jazz, and gamelan music from Six Degrees Records, INEDIT, Budamusique, ARC Music, Arhoolie Records, and World Music Network.
