For departmental uses of Collaborate Web Conferencing, and for faculty or staff not currently available in Blackboard, you can schedule meetings through an external system called Session Administration System (SAS).
Most academic or instructional uses of Collaborate should be scheduled through Blackboard which does not require a SAS account.
Scheduling meetings in Collaborate outside of Blackboard can be done by logging into a Session Administration System (SAS) at http://collaborate.baylor.edu with an assigned username and password. Once there, you can view already scheduled meetings and schedule new meetings. You may request a SAS account by contacting John Lowe at ext. 7362.
When you complete the session scheduling process, you will be able to use the Guest Link to send custom email invitations to anyone you'd like to join the session – including those not affiliated with Baylor. Although non-Baylor users can participate in sessions by using the Guest Link, faculty or staff will be required to schedule and host any meetings through Collaborate since this is a Baylor University resource. Students are not authorized to request SAS accounts or schedule meetings through SAS although they may join sessions using a provided Guest Link like any other participant.
