The Baylor Electronic Library offers support for MicroGrade and MicroTest (Windows only), EasyGrade Pro, a gradebook application, and Respondus and ExamView Assessment Suite, two test-bank applications for the Windows and Mac OSX operating systems, respectively.

MicroGrade & MicroTest Pro (Windows Only)

NOTE: Baylor University will be phasing out support for MicroGrade and MicroTest Pro at the end of the 2012-2013 academic year for clients on the Mac OS X platform. Mac OS X users are encouraged to use the Blackboard Grade Center, Easy Grade Pro, or Excel to maintain their gradebooks.

Installers for MicroGrade and MicroTest Pro may be downloaded directly from the links provided below. Please read the following information before installing any Chariot product:

  • Baylor faculty and staff members may register up to two copies each of MicroGrade or MicroTest Pro for on- or off-campus use.
  • If you are getting a new computer and would like to continue using your Chariot products, you will first have to deactivate previously registered Chariot software on the old computer by opening the application and selecting File > Deactivate. If you forget to do this, please email Chariot technical support at angiec@chariot.com or helllp@chariot.com to have your registration attempts cleared.

EasyGrade Pro (Windows & Mac OS X)

EasyGrade Pro logoEasyGrade Pro is Baylor's newest solution for faculty gradebooks. This software is compatible with both the Windows and Mac OSX operating systems and is available for download for at http://www.baylor.edu/appcenter (PC clients only). Mac clients may access the EasyGrade Pro installer by following these instructions:

  1. Select Go > Connect to Server.
  2. Type smb://bu-shares/OSX-SOFTWARE/EasyGrade/4.1 in the Server Address field.
  3. Click the Connect button and login with your BearID (Firstname_Lastname) and password.
  4. Run the EasyGrade Pro installer and copy-and-paste the serial number from the serial number.txt file when prompted.

Respondus (Windows Only)

Respondus LogoWe offer Respondus as our solution for test-bank management. This application integrates with Blackboard and is also capable of generating paper-based tests. Unfortunately, it is only compatible with the Windows operating system. To download Respondus, visit http://www.baylor.edu/appcenter. ExamView Assessment Suite (Mac OSX only)

Respondus LogoFor our clients using the Mac OSX operating system at the Baylor campus in Waco, we offer ExamView Assessment Suite as our solution for test-bank management. This application integrates with Blackboard and is also capable of generating paper-based tests. To download ExamView, please follow these instructions:

  1. Select Go > Connect to Server.
  2. Type smb://bu-shares/OSX-SOFTWARE/ExamView in the Server Address field.
  3. Click the Connect button and login with your BearID (Firstname_Lastname) and password.
  4. Drag the ExamView.dmg file to your computer and install the application (no serial number necessary).
