EDUCAUSE - Guide to Evaluating Student Technology

Information technology is becoming more and more important in our daily lives and prospective students and parents are examining the way colleges and universities provide resources and support to students for information technology resources. To assist families in this process, EDUCAUSE, in cooperation with the National Association for College Admission Counseling and the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers, recently developed a guide for evaluating information technology on campus.

Baylor University is proud to participate in the effort to provide information by making our responses to the EDUCAUSE guide available. We hope this information will help students and parents interested in Baylor University.

Academic Experience - explains how technology is used to support learning activities in and out of the classroom.

Administrative Experience - describes which business transactions, such as registering for classes or paying tuition, can be taken care of online.

Student Life - learn about the different technology tools used on campus that will facilitate different communities, either in person or virtually.

Services & Fees - evaluates the benefits you will receive and directly compares costs.
