Student Learning and Engagement is looking for passionate students to serve in the following leadership positions:

Community Leader

The Community Leader provides leadership by fostering community and cultivating relationships, mentoring residents, and facilitating learning through efforts that integrate aspects of diversity, faith development, academics and relationships.

LEAD Mentor

LEAD Mentors enhance the LEAD‐LLC by developing programmatic components that help build community, provide intentional service opportunities, market the program, as well as provide an outlet for students who would like to further develop their leadership skills.

Orientation Leader

The Baylor Orientation Leader (OL) position is designed to provide a welcoming and consistent message to new students throughout the summer during Orientation and Baylor Line Camp. OLs will help generate excitement about attending Baylor and provide points of connection.

Baylor Line Camp Leader

Baylor Line Camp Leaders (LCLs) help incoming students experience Baylor and build relationships by serving as a small group leader during Baylor Line Camp. LCLs are committed to fostering meaningful relationships with new students and preparing them to be successful at Baylor.

Student Leadership Team

Serving as a member of the Student Leadership Team (SLT) is an advanced leadership opportunity within New Student Programs. SLT members assist in various ways with the planning and and facilitation Orientation and Baylor Line Camp.

Baylor's Christian heritage and identity shape and direct the University's entire mission. Students who apply to serve in leadership roles that require them to be an active part of sharing Baylor's Christian identity should demonstrate alignment with these assumptions.
