LEAD LLC Scholarship

The LEAD-LLC aims to graduate students who will not only be leaders and influencers, but also instruments of change. This scholarship gives students an opportunity to offset the cost of their education while making a difference.

Information:
The Leadership Living Learning Center (LEAD-LLC) Scholarship will be awarded for the fall of 2013 to provide additional financial aid to students participating in the LEAD-LLC and to align Baylor's mission of developing leaders and servants. The LEAD-LLC was established in fall 2004. The purpose of the LEAD-LLC is to develop leaders of influence through exploring leadership theory, engaging in civic activities, discovering personal strengths and calling, and gaining leadership experience in the context of Christian community. This scholarship will provide assistance to deserving students enrolled in the Leadership Living Learning Center.

Criteria:
Undergraduate students that have been accepted into and will be participating in the Leadership Living Learning Center (LEAD-LLC), while living in Allen or Dawson, who have completed the FASFA. Click here for FASFA Information

Minimum GPA:
The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50.

Award Information:
The maximum award is $3,000.00 for the academic year ($1,500.00 per semester).

Additional Information:
Scholarships are based on acceptance and enrollment in the LEAD-LLC, combined with financial need. The scholarship will accompany fall 2013 freshmen through their 4 years, as long as they continue on with their involvement in Lead LLC scholarship-approved leadership activities, and demonstrate a continued need after filing the annual FAFSA and maintain a GPA of 2.5 or better.
