2013-2014 Lead LLC Application Process
The Leadership Living-Learning Center (LEAD-LLC) seeks to develop leaders of influence through exploring leadership theory, engaging in civic activities, discovering personal strengths and calling, and gaining leadership experience in the context of Christian community.
The LEAD-LLC brings together the academic and residential components of the university experience. Through the lens of Christian beliefs and values, and the ongoing process of preparation, engagement, and reflection, LEAD-LLC students will emerge with a well-developed understanding of leadership in society.
The process of becoming a member of the LEAD-LLC begins when applications are received and reviewed. As applicants are admitted, acceptance letters and emails are sent to the students. Upon receipt of a student's intent to participate, available spaces in the LEAD-LLC designated residence halls are assigned. Students will reside in Allen and Dawson Residence Halls, men and women respectively. After the spaces are filled, applicants will be placed on a waiting list in the order of applications received.
Students who choose to participate in the LEAD-LLC are expected to fulfill all requirements of the program and demonstrate a commitment to both the program and their colleagues. Before applying to participate in the LEAD-LLC, students must be accepted to Baylor University for the 2013-2014 academic year.
