Leadership Lecture Series

Effective leaders must be able to discern and articulate needs in their environments. Each semester the Academy for Leader Development will host the Leadership Lecture Series to introduce students to the variety and complexity of leadership needs in contemporary society.

Each series will be devoted to one of the Academy's leadership concentrations: leadership and contemporary social issues; leadership in public life; leadership in the Church; and leadership through private enterprise. Presenters in the series will articulate a critical need in the given area of focus, a description of leadership in that area of need, and reflections on the role of Christian leadership in meeting that need.

As part of their course curriculum, first-year students will be required to attend a total of three lectures from the Seminar per semester for a total of six lectures in one academic year.
