B_Fellow

The Fellow Program

The Academy for Leader Development & Civic Engagement Fellow Program is designed for students of any background or academic major who are interested in the concept of leadership. Students self-select into the program by agreeing to pursue a series of curricular and co-curricular commitments. Once these commitments are accomplished, a student is recognized by the Academy as a "Fellow."


B_LEADLLC

Leadership Living Learning Center

LEAD-LLC students live in Allen (men) or Dawson (women) Residence Halls with others who have a similar interest in leadership. Students take 2 one-hour courses (Leadership Development in the Fall and Servant Leadership in the Spring), participate in weekly Mentor Group meetings, and participate in multiple hours of community service, attend leadership lectures, and go on one retreat each semester which integrates the academic knowledge with the practical application of leadership.

International Justice Mission

International Justice Mission

International Justice Mission (IJM) is a human rights agency that secures justice for victims of slavery, sexual exploitation and other forms of violent oppression. IJM lawyers, investigators and aftercare professionals work with local officials to ensure immediate victim rescue and aftercare, to prosecute perpetrators and to promote functioning public justice systems.

Freshman Leadership Organization

The Freshman Leadership Organization (FLO) is an energetic group of individuals interested in developing their own leadership potential. Leadership skills are obtained and utilized through engaging involvement in the Waco community, weekly meetings, enjoyable event planning, and relationship building.
