New Student Guide

The three most critical processes regarding information technology you will face as a new student are (1) Activating your Bear I.D., (2) configuring your laptop for wireless access (AirBear) and (3) configuring your laptop for wired access (ResNet - optional).

Another popular technology resource available to you is wireless printing. This and other resources are explained below.

If you have not already done so, please visit the Bear I.D. activation page. This process will set up your password and allow you access to the university resources. You can return to this page to reset your password at any time.

To configure your laptop for wireless access, please visit the appropriate page as linked to below:

Wireless printing is one resource that many of our students take advantage of frequently. Be sure to review the Printing Policy and the Print Release procedure.
