Step OneComplete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form, and be sure to include Baylor's Title IV School Code: 003545. Under FAFSA, all graduate students are considered independent, even if their parents still claim them on their taxes. This helps many law students to qualify for more financial assistance than they did as undergraduates.
Step TwoBaylor University's Financial Aid Office will receive your FAFSA resuls within three to five business days. Once aid processing begins for the quarter you are entering Baylor Law, the Financial Aid Office will notify you of your eligiblity and the steps you need to take to finalize your aid offer.
Step ThreeAfter you learn what aid you have qualified for, you can then apply for a Grad PLUS and/or private alternative loans to cover the remainder of your tuition, books and living expenses.
