Tom Featherston, the Mills Cox Professor of Law at Baylor Law School, will serve as the sole presenter at the Corpus Christi Estate Planning Council's 38th Annual Estate Planning Seminar. The seminar will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, May 16, at the University Center at Texas A&M, Corpus Christi.
Featherston's presentation, "When Worlds Collide: Texas Marital Property Law and Estate Planning & Probate," will cover such topics as marital property basics, marital property in trusts, non-probate and probate dispositions, handling claims following first spouse's death, claims for reimbursement, and marital agreements.
