Dallas Association of Young Lawyers' Law Student Assistance Committee Hosts Swearing-In Ceremony

Oct. 17, 2012

The Dallas Association of Young Lawyers' Law Student Assistance Committee is hosting another Swearing-In Ceremony open to all law students who have recently passed the Texas bar exam. Families of the newly licensed attorneys are also encouraged to attend. Judge Martin Hoffman of the 68th Civil District Court, Dallas County, will be conducting the ceremony.

As in the past, all attendees will receive important information related to being a first-year attorney. This is a great alternative to the Swearing-In Ceremony in Austin for those who are unable or choose not to travel. It is also a great opportunity for these soon-to-be Dallas lawyers to learn more about the Dallas legal community.

Details of the Ceremony are as follows:

Date: Nov. 13, 2012 at 4 p.m.

Location: Belo Mansion, 2101 Ross Ave., Dallas, Texas 75201

Parking available for a small fee)

Please let Cherie Harris know the number of students attending and the number of their guests, if any. Cherie can be reached at cherieh@dayl.com. It is important that each student bring their letter from the State Bar indicating that they have met all of the requirements and are ready to take the oath.
