Beverage, Food, and Tobacco Product Policy
Food and tobacco products of any kind are prohibited in the Law Library. Beverages are permitted if they are in a sealed container, such as a Baylor Law mug or a water bottle.
Please keep noise to a minimum while in the library. This is especially important during final exams.
Please take all cell phone conversations outside the library. A "local calls only" telephone is available in the soft-seating area of the Reserve Room. The Law Library does not page patrons for telephone calls.
Non-Baylor-Affiliated Patron Policy
The general public is authorized to use the Baylor Law Library to conduct legal research, but is generally not permitted to borrow any of the library materials. Please see our Circulation and Borrowing Policies page for further information about limited borrowing privileges for local attorneys.
The library security system monitors material exiting the library. When materials have not been checked out properly and pass through the system, the alarm will sound.
If the alarm sounds as you leave the library, step away from the entrance and return to the circulation desk to have the materials properly processed.
The security system does not interfere with pacemakers, hearing aids, tape recorders or computer diskettes. However, individuals wearing headphones are advised to remove them when approaching the system.
