The Law Library serves as a selective depository for the 17th Congressional District, and provides the public and the law school community with access to government publications and information made available through the Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP). This program is administered by the Government Printing Office (GPO).

The collection is housed on the third floor of the Law Library in Room 310. Many other government documents are available online through Bearcat. A second government documents collection is housed on the first floor of the Jesse H. Jones Library, which is located on the main campus of Baylor University.
