Getting to Know Tara LeDay
I chose Baylor partly because of the quarter system. The quarter system allowed me to start in the Summer, which was perfect because my daughter was born a few months prior. The quarter system is more flexible for a student like me who commutes from a different city and also has children. I also chose Baylor because the law firm I currently work at is full of Baylor Lawyers.
Before starting law school, I worked at a law firm in the Austin area for over three years, doing various jobs ranging from legal assistant to title examiner. This experience really solidified the fact that I wanted to become an attorney.
My favorite thing about Baylor law school is the class size. I came from a small liberal arts university, and was really attracted to the small size of Baylor Law School as a whole. Imagine my excitement when my first quarter classes only had 19 students.
