David Dumas was born in Dallas, Texas and grew up in Hillsboro, Texas. He attended Baylor University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance. He graduated from Baylor University Law School in 1988 and was admitted to the Texas Bar in 1988. David is a member of the Waco-McLennan County Bar Association, the Texas Association of Defense Counsel and a member of the Construction Law Section of the State Bar of Texas. In addition to representing clients in the areas of Medical Malpractice, Insurance Defense, Commercial Law and Construction Law, he teaches Health Care Litigation as an adjunct professor at Baylor University School of Law. When he is not busy practicing law or teaching, he is spending time with his six children and his wife, Kristy.
