Rex Whitaker's practice includes general business, securities, and tax related matters. He has handled numerous capital fundings involving public securities offerings, tax exempt bond financings, venture capital fundings and private placements. He has also represented clients in numerous multimillion dollar business acquisitions and mergers in Texas and throughout the United States. His current practice also includes a significant amount of business planning involving a wide variety of estate and business planning alternatives. Additionally, he serves as general counsel for several technology and communications companies engaged in satellite communications, fiber optic component manufacturing, medical devise development and manufacturing, and other technology related matters. He serves on the board of directors of several companies.
