Larry E. Kelly became a member of the law firm in March 2008. He was appointed a United States Bankruptcy Judge in the Western District of Texas by the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals on October 2, 1986 and served as the Chief Judge from 1988-2006. Prior to being appointed to the bankruptcy bench Mr. Kelly was a partner in the Waco, Texas law firm of Pakis, Cherry, Beard & Giotes, Inc., in the insolvency, bankruptcy and reorganization section. He concentrates his practice in bankruptcy, reorganization and creditor rights and commercial litigation. Mr. Kelly has also served as adjunct professor of law at Baylor School of Law beginning in 1984.
