Shad Michael Robinson

Shad joined Haley & Olson in September 2000. Prior to joining Haley & Olson, he served a one-year tenure as a law clerk to the Honorable Leif M. Clark, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge, Western District of Texas, San Antonio.

Shad has extensive experience in representing secured and unsecured creditors in automatic stay litigation, lien priority disputes, claims objection litigation, plan confirmation litigation, bankruptcy discharge litigation, and bankruptcy preference and fraudulent transfer litigation arising in consumer and business bankruptcy cases throughout the State of Texas.

He is also experienced in representing individuals, banks, corporations, and other business entities in general commercial matters including creditor's rights/collections, workouts, banking and financial services, uniform commercial code matters, and commercial litigation.

Shad teaches Creditors' Rights and Remedies as an Adjunct Professor at Baylor Law School and has been recognized by Texas Monthly Magazine four consecutive years as a Texas Rising Star.

He was admitted to the Texas Bar in November 1999 and is licensed to practice in the State of Texas and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit.
