Held in Washington D.C., three panels of distinguished judges and lawyers engaged in intriguing discussions on emerging trends in intellectual property litigation at Baylor Law's third edition of Viewpoints:™ A Conversation Series.
On March 29, Baylor Law honored and recognized the outstanding achievements of current Baylor Law students in academics, advocacy, law review, and pro bono and public service at the 2017 John William & Florence Dean Minton Student Awards Ceremony and Lecture Series.
Baylor Law students Ian Todd and David Eskew and Baylor student Ashley Hodge placed Second Place overall and won Best Draft Term Sheet at the National StartUp LawMeet competition. The team featured a unique collaboration between Baylor Law and Baylor’s MBA program. Todd and Eskew are both enrolled in Baylor Law's joint MBA/JD degree plan and teammate Hodge is enrolled in Baylor’s MBA program. The team was coached by David Reid.
U.S. News & World Report ranked Baylor Law’s highly respected trial advocacy program #3 in the nation. Baylor Law School also ranked #51—a four spot jump from last year—among fully accredited law schools in the "Best Law Schools" category of the magazine's 2018 edition of "Best Graduate Schools."
