All proceeds will benefit the McClennan County Pack of Hope program. Christian Legal Society
Christian Legal Society invites everyone to join them for fellowship and fun during their weekly bible study. All denominations are welcome, as well as any newcomers. Come take a break from law school, de-stress and refocus your attention. The bible study is held every Friday at noon in the Lawyer's Lounge.
Phi Alpha Delta presents 6th Annual Professor Auction

Brewer and Messina win the Spring 2015 Strasburger and Price Moot
Hannah Brewer and Kristen Messina won the Spring 2015 Strasburger and Price Moot Court Competition. Braden Allman and Kyle Beckrich won second place. A special "Thanks" to Craig Haynes, Partner at Thompson & Knight in Dallas, Texas, and the Hon. Catharina Haynes of the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, who served as the final round’s guest judges.
Local News Anchor Interviews Students During Leadership Development Class
Julie Hays, a KWTX news anchor in Waco, TX, joined a Leadership Development Class to meet with our students and conduct mock interviews based on fictitious scenarios. Mrs. Hays, married to Baylor Lawyer Sam Hays (J.D. '11), is very familiar working with lawyers as a journalist and shared her experience and advice in interacting with the media. Here Mrs. Hays is interviewing Phil Gordon, a 2L from Austin, TX, about his role as a CEO of a fictitious company in the middle of a scandal. After interviewing all the students, Mrs. Hays visited with the students about their interviews, and how to improve their skills.

Baylor Law Earns Top Marks in National Jurist's 'Best Schools for Practical Training'
Baylor Law School earned an A+ in the latest issue of The National Jurist's
inaugural list of "Best Schools for Practical Training." The listings were unveiled in the magazine's March issue. "This is the first effort to try to quantify which schools are delivering on their promises to make legal education more experiential," said Jack Crittenden, editor-in-chief, The National Jurist
