The CDO's goal is to help you evaluate and pursue your unique career objectives. We provide educational programs and resources to enable you to identify your strengths and interests and develop your career plan. We do this through one-on-one counseling, professional development workshops and programs, recruitment programs, job posting databases, and other services. We also have various library and online resources you may find useful as you plan your future.

As part of our mission, we constantly search for job opportunities to present to students. We communicate regularly with potential employers to understand the dynamic job market for students and graduates, and we encourage and promote on-campus recruiting by employers in all practice areas. Nevertheless, the CDO is not a "placement" center. The most effective career development strategy requires you to be proactive and to think strategically about how to achieve your goals.
