Please join us for two lectures sponsored by the Baylor Research and Innovation Collaborative (BRIC) as part of the BRIC Foundations: Perspectives from Leaders in Innovation seminar series. Dr. Thomas H. Zurbuchen will present a technical lecture, Achieving (Nearly) Impossible Goals: Lessons from Building Space Instruments, on April 8, 2015 at the Baylor Sciences Building, room D.110 (reception at 3:00 p.m.; lecture at 3:30 p.m.) A second lecture will be presented on April 9, 2015 at the BRIC, Room 3160 (reception at 5:30 p.m.; lecture at 6:00 p.m.) which will describe his work with a successful entrepreneurial program at the University of Michigan. The lecture will reveal three key ingredients of the entrepreneurial program used to teach innovators how to improve their ideas and move them toward commercialization.
Dr. Zurbuchen holds a Ph.D. in physics from the University of Bern, Switzerland and is a Senior Counselor of Entrepreneurial Programs at the University of Michigan.
