An average man probably would not travel 700 miles for his mother-in-law, but Houston native David Kiser is biking across Texas in honor of his.
His trip brought him to Waco, across the suspension bridge and to a pancreatic cancer awareness event Tuesday.
He explained to a crowd that had gathered near the bridge that his mother-in-law had died of pancreatic cancer after a 13-month battle with the disease.
