Enrollment tips scale at 12,604
Baylor University's enrollment for the spring semester jumped to a record 12,604 students. This number represents an increase of 425 students from last spring. According to 12th-day enrollment figures reported by the Office of the Registrar, this semester's enrollment includes 11,099 undergraduates, 1,161 graduate students, 251 students at the George W. Truett Theological Seminary, two law students taking graduate hours and 91 students in Baylor's associate program with the U.S. Army's Academy of Health Sciences in San Antonio.
The Baylor libraries will be participating in the second-annual American Library Association Job Shadow Day from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
About 25 juniors and seniors from University High School will visit the libraries.
Each student will shadow a library faculty or staff volunteer who will interact with the students, demonstrate and explain effective work methods, and help the students understand skills and academics to work in a library.
