Baylor alumnus Wes Cunningham will return to Waco this weekend at 8:15 p.m. Friday to perform at the Texas Music Café and Waco Hippodrome Theater.

Cunningham is promoting his debut album, 12 Ways To Win People To Your Way Of Thinking, and the first single from the album, 'Say My Name.' Cunningham combines poetic lyrics and melodies with guitars that set him apart as a true artist.

'He's a singer-songwriter who writes lyrics that go towards pop and rock,' said Jonathan Norris, a spokesman for i.v. Records.

'Say My Name' is the third release from 12 Ways, and critics chose it as an album favorite. Robert Oermann, of Music Row Magazine, considers this a 'very cool record in which Cunningham paints a vivid word picture and writes crafty pop melodies that stick to the ribs.'

After leaving Waco, Cunningham will perform in Denton on Nov. 13, and then in Louisville, Ky.
