Bosque Watershed and Lake Waco
Welcome to the home page for the Lake Waco and Bosque River Water Quality Project. This is a cooperative project between the City of Waco, ENSR International, and Baylor University's Water Resources Research Center.
From here, you can obtain information about each phase of the project including downloading project data and reports, interactively surf the Bosque Watershed via online GIS, or interact with the project group.
Online GIS
To provide an assessment of the physical and environmental effects of lake level rise on the area surrounding Lake Waco when an additional seven feet of storage is added (from 455' MSL to 462' MSL).
Lake Whitney
Project Objective-Address and solve the water supply needs of the Lake Whitney area including both agricultural and municipal water needs.
