Career planning
Job search resources and strategies for the graduate student are available at Baylor University. Students are invited to familiarize themselves with the Career Services Center as soon as possible. The Department has its own resources for locating professional positions for graduate and undergraduate students.
Career Services Center
The Career Services Center, located in the Clifton-Robinson Tower, helps students in job searches, both in the U.S. and abroad. Open to all disciplines, the CSC offers career counseling by way of numerous workshops and seminars throughout the year.
The Career Services Center has initiated a computerized effort to register students through Resume Web Expert.
The CSC processed more than 40,000 requests last year for candidates with particular job skills. Many of these jobs are not posted as per the request of companies. Registering on the CSC's system will give you access to this hidden job market.
Dr. Sara Stone is the internships and careers coordinator within the Department of Journalism & Media Arts. A member of the graduate faculty, Dr. Stone maintains memberships in state and national professional organizations, as well as an extensive list of alumni contacts who think Baylor first when looking to hire.
