Course Selection
Each student must register for courses at the exchange school and BaylorUniversity. You can register at Baylor by submitting an Equivalent Course Approval Form to International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) in Poage Library before the deadline. The ISSS will register you for your Baylor equivalencies with an IE (international exchange) section. You must apply at the exchange school by submitting an application and following the necessary requirements according to that program.

Registration Fees:
Each student will pay all tuition costs directly to Baylor, at the same rate as if the student were on campus. In addition to this, some programs require additional fees. Please refer to this guide before paying any additional fees.
Registration fee: 11,000Yen = around 100 USD
Housing Procedures:
Each student is responsible to coordinate their own housing arrangements according to the options available at the exchange university.

Housing Fees must be paid in Yen through a postal mail order made out to the Center for International Education
Health Procedures:
Each student is REQUIRED TO COMPLETE A HEALTH AND LEGAL RELEASE BEFORE DEPARTURE (available from Exchange Program Advisor during Pre-Departure Orientation). Also, each student is required to submit their immunization records and carry HTH International Health Insurance. Please see EXCHANGE 101 for more details.

EACH STUDENT MUST REQUEST FOR THEIR OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT TO BE SENT TO BAYLOR IN ORDER TO RECEIVE CREDIT FOR COURSES.

Transportation:
Each student is responsible for their own transportation, including airfare.
Offers airport pick-up. Former Baylor Japanese Exchange students will meet you at the airport. Nearest Airport is FukuokaInternationalAirport.
Orientation:
Each student must attend PRE-DEPARTURE Orientation at Baylor, offered through the ISSS. In addition, some schools offer an orientation upon arrival.
