Please don't miss our annual fundraiser, the Lynne Truss lecture, on Nov. 3. Ms. Truss is a skilled and entertaining speaker; you will walk away from this event with a smile on your face and a newfound respect for using punctuation correctly. Proceeds will be used to upgrade the Crouch Fine Arts Media Center.
Improving services throughout the libraries is the connecting thread for this issue of Access. The OsoFast interlibrary loan service makes it easier and faster to obtain articles or books from other libraries. Also, just unveiled are the libraries' new web pages. They are fresh and user-friendly; the goal was to design a clean, client-focused gateway to numerous library services and resources. Congratulations to the design team members for a job well done!
Take a look at the photo of library consultants; our librarians are skilled and ready to help you and your colleagues obtain the best and most useful resources for your teaching and research endeavors. Together we can build a stronger, more in-depth collection of resources.
I hope you have a productive and memorable semester!
