Acquisitions of special note are :
- C19, The Nineteenth Century Index – Indexes publications of the Anglo-American World, 1790-1919. Collections expand with each release of the database and include: The Nineteenth Century Short Title Catalogue, The Wellesley Index, Poole's Index and Periodicals Index Online.
Empire Online – When complete, this database will provide about 60,000 images of original documents sourced from libraries and archives around the world and linked to essays by leading scholars in the field of Empire Studies. The sections cover Cultural Contacts, 1492-1969; Literature and Empire; The Visible Empire; Religion and Empire and Race, Class, Imperialism and Colonialism, c1607-2007.
Times Digital Archive, 1785-1985 – Provides a completely indexed digital edition of The Times (London), including full facsimile images of either a specific article or a complete page, capturing the entire newspaper with all articles, advertisements and illustrations/photos.
A variety of online encyclopedias and handbooks, including: Comprehensive Organometallic Chemistry III, Encyclopedia of Cognitive Science, Encyclopedia of Inorganic Chemistry, Encyclopedia of Life Sciences, Encyclopedia of Statistical Sciences and Handbooks in Economics Series.
