Prepare for an evening of laughter and enlightenment when British author Lynne Truss joins us for the Ferguson-Clark lecture. Her lively history of punctuation makes a good case for preserving the system of printing conventions in this day of e-mail and text messaging.

The mystical isle of Ireland is the destination for an 11-day excursion
of discovery and illumination. In June 2006, the libraries will sponsor a delightful trip to Ireland complete with a viewing of the original Book of Kells at Trinity College.

Presently, a team of librarians and information technology specialists are redesigning the library web pages. The ease of using these pages is directly linked to student success.

The innovative iPod experiment, "Audio Reserves 2Go," undertaken this spring in the Crouch Fine Arts Library, was highly successful, and additional iPods have been ordered. With donor assistance, new study stations by furniture designer Herman Miller will be added in the fine arts library during this academic year.

Please stop by the libraries and see what's new. We look forward to your visit.
