D.M. Edwards Re-Elected Library Board Chair
The Libraries Board of Advisors met in the W.R. Poage Exhibit Gallery on Friday, March 4. Members re-elected D.M. Edwards of Tyler as the chair for 2005-06 and chose William (Bill) Wardlaw of Waco as chair-elect.
The dean of libraries, all library directors and the director of library advancement presented updates to the board. BOA members are actively assisting the libraries by hosting roadshows in their homes, calling donors to thank them for their support, advising the dean and directors regarding possible fundraising strategies, and investing financially in the libraries.
