All Baylor employees, students, applicants, and prospects were "switcharoo'd" from a primary ID of social security number to an assigned nine-digit number on May 23. The switch for alumni records came later - in early June. Constituent records in the main University information systems no longer utilize social security number as the primary identifier!
New Baylor identification cards reflecting the new ID numbers were printed and distributed in late April. Anyone who has not picked up his/her new card may do so at the ID card office on the first floor of Robinson Tower during normal business hours.
Any department that has an internal application still utilizing SSN's should email Pete Able at email@example.com
for directions on how to proceed. Also, Baylor constituents can continue to review the Frequently Asked Questions link on the Switcharoo
Website for information about their ID number, ID card, and other related issues.
