Maintenance must be performed on all four volumes of ITS email servers that contain all faculty and staff email account information and files. It will require three consecutive nights to complete the process and will be performed between 2:00 AM and 5:00 AM on Saturday, June 19; Sunday, June 20 and Monday, June 21. During this outage, your account will not be accessible.
You can work offline if you desire. We anticipate that this time frame will be convenient for most clients.
These servers will be defragmented and expanded to provide growth in the number of accounts we can support. During the first Saturday morning maintenance timeframe, a network upgrade will also be performed during the first 5 to 10 minutes. This upgrade will be performed on all servers in the Dutton Datacenter. During this short timeframe, all servers will be off-line (unreachable from on or off campus) while the new code is installed.
