Information on Recent BearWeb PIN Change Notification

Faculty/Staff and Students may have recently received an email message on the afternoon of October 16, 2009, stating that their BearWeb PIN has been changed. This was an automated email triggered by changes made during the Banner upgrade currently underway.
Please be assured that the value of your PIN has not been changed. It has been encrypted within the Banner database as an improvement in data security. No action is required on your part as a result of the email notification. If you receive any additional emails stating a PIN change occurred that was not a result of your action, please contact the Help Line at 254-710-4357.
