Tuesday evening, June 16, there were some issues with the core router that resulted in the router rebooting itself once around 5:30pm and rebooting again multiple times between 11:15pm and midnight. Each reboot resulted in a few minutes of downtime -- preventing clients from accessing Baylor servers and the Internet. The vendor was engaged and
maintenance work was done on the router to restore stability. Service seems to be stable currently, but additional devices may need to be restarted to regain completely normal network communication. ITS is continuing to monitor this situation.
