Telephone Outage UpdateMay 29, 2008
On Tuesday morning, May 27, 2008, a central component of our telephone infrastructure malfunctioned as a result the severe thunderstorm that passed through Waco on May 13, 2008. Throughout the day ITS networking personnel worked with representatives from Black Box and AT&T to restore service and performed high level tests on our phone system. The telephone system operated normally throughout the day yesterday and testing will continue over the next few days to ensure, to the best of our ability, that the equipment will remain stable.
