The voicemail system is currently down. This outage affects the ability to retrieve voicemail messages, as well as access phone queues, such as the Help Desk. It is not known how long the outage will last. Updates will be posted as information becomes available.
Project Office will be upgraded to version 4.2. Please make sure to exit Project Office before 5:00 PM on Wednesday, September 29. Once the upgrade is complete, you will not be able to use Project Office until you uninstall the current version of Project Office and reinstall the new version of the Windows client. (More...)
A memory and system upgrade must be performed on the ITS Tivoli system at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, September 29. The upgrade will take approximately one hour and during this outage all backup and restore services will be unavailable. ITS-Internet Services is pleased to announce the release of new Advanced Search functionality in the Online Directory. These advanced functions are offered as a replacement for the current Whitepages online system.
Exchange services are currently offline. Technicians are working to resolve the problems. Services are expected to be restored by 8:30 am Thursday morning. Once services are restored, all email that was sent will be delivered, although there may be a delay because of the volume of email that was received during the outage.
As of September 13, 2004, Exchange accounts for former students were deleted and email accounts for these former students were created on the Bearmail server. An email was sent to the former students affected by this change, with instructions on how to move their emails, calendars, contacts, etc. from the Exchange server to the Bearmail server.
Maintenance must be performed on the ITS PawPrints server. It will take approximately four hours and will begin at 1:00 AM Wednesday morning, September 15, 2004. Printing will not be available during this outage, which includes all printers located in the libraries, Campus Living and Learning labs, departmental labs and the SUB. On Saturday, September 11, beginning at 8:00 am, access to Banner (PROD) will be restricted so that critical system maintenance can be performed. The outage is expected to last approximately four hours. Banner ADS, Banner HRS, and Banner SIS, as well as all systems that access Banner data will be unavailable during this outage.
The ID System will be down for an emergency software upgrade on Thursday, September 9, between 6:00 am and 7:00 am. Although the approximate time for the upgrade is 30 minutes, additional time will be used for testing. Doors using ID cards for access will work in offline mode during the outage. BearBucks, Faculty/Staff credit, Dining Dollars and Meal Plans will not be available during the outage. more...
