Android Device Email Setup

To set up email on an Android devices, please follow these instructions:
If the device has already been configured for Exchange email, it may be necessary to first remove the account. Instructions for doing so are located at the bottom of this page.

NOTE: Some menu options may be slightly different depending on which vendor made your device (ie, "Corporate" may be labeled "Exchange", etc...)

1) In the Settings icon, Personal, Accounts.

2) Select Add account at the bottom.

3) Select "Email" for Corporate (or Exchange) for the account-type list.

4) Enter your full Baylor Email address (example: and password.

5) Optional, yet recommended. You may wish to check the box that says "Set this account as the default for sending emails."

6) Click next when done entering your information.

Reconfiguring an existing account:
It may be necessary to remove and re-add your email account. If the above steps do not work, you will need to do the following:

1) In the Settings icon, Personal, Accounts.

2) Select your Baylor account (aka Exchange or Microsoft Exchange Active Sync). Click the More option, and choose Remove Account.

3) Proceed from step two above.
