Call Transfer

Manually redirects certain calls to other extensions.

500 set:

  • First press the switch hook on your phone.
  • Dial the campus extension to which you wish to transfer.
  • Hang up the receiver. The call will be transferred.

All Other Models:

  • First press the TRANSFER button on your key pad.
  • Dial the campus extension to which you wish to transfer.
  • Press the TRANSFER button, which completes the call transfer.

Call Forwarding

Redirects all of your calls to another extension.

500 set:

  • Lift the receiver and press the # key, followed by 1.
  • Enter the desired extension and hang up the receiver. The phone should be forwarded.
  • To deactivate, lift the receiver and press the # key followed by 1.

All Other Models:

  • Press the FORWARD button on your phone and enter the desired extension.
  • Press the FORWARD button once more. The phone should be forwarded.
  • To deactivate the Call Forward function, simply press the FORWARD button.

Conference Calls

Connects up to 6 callers on one call.

500 set:

  • Dial the first party. When this person answers, press the switch hook.
  • Dial the second party. When this person answers, press the switch hook again. You should now have both parties on the line.
  • Continue the process until all parties have joined the call.

All Other Models:

  • Dial the first party. When this person answers, press the CONFERENCE button. If you do not have a conference button, contact the Help Desk at 710-4357.
  • Dial the second party. When this person answers, press the CONFERENCE button again. You should now have both parties on the line.
  • Continue the process until all parties have joined the call.
