Arts & Sciences Technology Center
The Arts & Science Technology Center provides computer technology needed in classrooms, department labs, and offices for the College of Arts and Sciences.
Bearspace
BearSpace is a network file storage system provided by the Electronic Library Client Services and Information Technology Services (ITS) to students, faculty and staff. BearSpace provides 100 megabytes of disk space per person and allows an individual to store copies of important documents such as homework, notes, papers, and graphics on a system that is accessible from anywhere on the Internet.
Blackboard
Blackboard is the university's online course management system. ITS Internet Services supports the underlying servers as well as the Blackboard application, building blocks and integration with other systems. The Electronic Library provide support to students and faculty members in the use of Blackboard.
Casey Computer Center
The Casey Computer Center was created in 1962 through the generosity of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Casey who provided the original equipment. Since that time the computer center has provided excellent service and state-of-the-art equipment for students, faculty and staff in the Hankamer School of Business.
Computing Facilities
Baylor provides students with convenient access to computers in a variety of locations on campus. General access computer facilities (including some 24 hour locations), walk-up kiosks, and departmental computer facilities combined offer students over 1600 desktops and laptops for use.
Institutional Research & Testing
The primary mission of Institutional Research & Testing is to conduct research in order to provide information which supports institutional planning, policy information, and decision making.
ResTech
Residential Technology provides computer network connections and cable television services within Baylor's residence halls.
Teaching & Research Resources
The Electronic Library's Resources and Collection Management Services Unit provides to library staff and clients with BEARdocs, electronic resources, Refworks, TurnItIn, seminars, copyright questions, BearCat, electronic resources, technology purchasing, teleconferences, webinars, digitization project consultation, database development, and more.
Technology for Students
The Electronic Library provides academic technology support and sevices for students. Public-access computers, student tech support, and print management are a few of the services we provide.
Bearhaus
Bearhaus is Baylor University's online data warehouse. It contains direct access to integrated data taken from multiple sources and stored in one location. Bearhaus is maintained by the Office of Institutional Research and Testing (IRT), part of Information Technology Services.
Technology Procurement
The Technology Procurement office facilitates the purchase of computers, printers, and other technology for departments as well as faculty, staff, and students.
